Welcome to Cruthú Arts Festival

Cruthú Arts Festival returns to Longford for another jam packed year of art, theatre, literature and music

It’s been a busy few months in Cruthú HQ with the team of volunteers working tirelessly to pull together an incredible line-up of art, theatre, literature and music. Cruthú is returning to Longford at the end of July 2017 for the fourth year in a row.

Kicking off on Wednesday, July 19th in Ballymahon Library with the “Re-Actor” series of one act plays, Cruthú is a celebration of the arts in Ireland bringing nationwide talent to Longford. Things really get exciting on Thursday, July 27th during the official opening of the festival which will see celebrated Longford artist Shane Cullan return to his homestead for a fantastic exhibition of his work in the old Providers space now used for the “Engage” exhibitions.

Throughout the weekend festival goers will enjoy live street art, theatre performances, pop-up art galleries, live music, family activities and so much more. Tickets will go live very shortly but for now mark it in your diaries and explore everything that’s happening during Cruthú on our programme page.

We look forward to seeing you! Please tell all of your friends.
